A serious accident occurred on Monday on DN 22, in Brăila, when the trailer of a truck driven by a Bulgarian driver entered the opposite lane, hitting a car.

On Monday, in Braila County, on National Road 22, a tragic accident occurred near the village of Movila Miresii. A truck driven by a 58-year-old Bulgarian driver suffered a malfunction, causing the trailer to detach and enter the opposite lane. The impact was devastating, hitting a car driven by a 61-year-old woman, who unfortunately did not survive. Neither could her 66-year-old husband be saved. Authorities confirmed that the Bulgarian driver had not consumed alcohol or illegal substances. The police have opened an investigation for manslaughter and will conduct a technical expertise of the truck to determine the causes of the trailer detachment.
