A man has been remanded in custody after impersonating a policeman and immobilizing a citizen on Cantemir Boulevard, robbing him of 500 lei and punching him in the face. The incident took place on the night of August 11-12, and the man was detained for aggravated robbery in a state of recidivism. He was remanded in custody by the Bucharest 4th District Court. At the same time, the interim mayor of the capital has announced significant cuts in local police officers, which could affect public order.
