On Tuesday night, the Ministry of Defense announced that F-16 aircraft were alerted due to a drone attack in Ukraine, near the Romanian border. Although aerial targets were monitored, the F-16s did not get off the ground because there was no risk of the drones entering Romanian airspace. The authorities issued no alert messages to the population, confirming that no additional security measures were needed.
