Romanian authorities are investigating the possible escape of Emil Gânj, suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend in Miheșu de Câmpie. The search is concentrated in Mures county and neighboring areas where abandoned houses are being checked. Gânj, described as mobile and well-trained, has generated more than 300 tips, most of them unconfirmed. Investigators uncovered clues that the suspect destroyed evidence, including a cell phone, and allegedly had supplies at the ready. The murder occurred on July 8, 2025.
