The explosion near the 'Dimitrie Bolintineanu' High School in Bucharest led to the evacuation of students and teachers. A few children were lightly injured.

The images published following the explosion show that some classrooms suffered material damage. The Bucharest Municipality School Inspectorate has confirmed the evacuation according to the recommendations of the intervention teams from ISU Bucharest-Ilfov. Authorities, including the Police and the Sector 5 City Hall, are present to assess the situation. School activities will resume only after ensuring the safety of the building. Following the incident, two deaths have been reported and eight people were transported to the hospital.
