A mother in Dumbrăveni was filmed exorcising her underage daughter live on TikTok, sparking outrage and calls for the authorities to intervene. The girl, visibly terrified, cried during the ritual. The General Directorate of Social Welfare and Child Protection has launched an investigation, and the mother had previously been warned for similar behavior. The authorities are monitoring the situation and separation of the child from the mother is a possibility, depending on the risk assessment.
