Nearly 50 people were evacuated from a home in Poarta Albă due to a dry vegetation fire. One man was taken to hospital.

On Wednesday night, a dry vegetation fire near the Care and Assistance Center in Poarta Albă led to the evacuation of 48 elderly people. Firefighters activated the Red Intervention Plan, mobilizing nine fire engines and ten ambulances. One beneficiary was taken to hospital in a critical condition. The fire, which destroyed vegetation over an area of eight hectares, was extinguished after two hours and firefighters remained in the area for surveillance.
