Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu has announced that a legislative initiative is being prepared to tackle the problem of second-hand products that are actually waste. This legislation will set clear definitions and regulations to prevent the import of waste under the label of second-hand products. Buzoianu underlined the negative environmental and public health impacts of these practices and announced that the initiative could be adopted by the end of the year.
