A meeting has been called to coordinate bear management measures on the Transfăgărășan, involving local authorities and specialized NGOs. The Argeș Forestry Department has started procedures to capture and relocate orphaned cubs after a tragic incident in which a motorcyclist was fatally mauled by a bear cub.
