Bogdan Ivan, Minister of Energy, said that a detailed analysis of public sector pay is essential, citing double discrepancies between the salaries of employees in the same position in different ministries. For example, an employee can earn 3,000 lei in one ministry, while another with the same job can have a salary of 6,000 lei. Ivan announced that the government will discuss a draft ordinance to balance these inequalities and improve the situation of vulnerable people in terms of energy bills.
