Following a visit to the Răstolița hydropower plant, Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan underlined the importance of the project, noting that hydropower is an efficient and environmentally friendly source of energy. Although there are complex legal challenges, he and his team are working with Hidroelectrica and local authorities to complete the works. The project could provide 35 MW of clean electricity, benefiting some 30,000 homes in the area. Ivan is committed to continuing efforts to bring cheap and quality energy to Romania.
