The Ministry of Labor announces that 4,700 employees from Damen, Liberty Galați, and Romaero will receive their outstanding salaries before the holidays.

The Ministry of Labor announced that employees from Damen Shipyards Mangalia, Liberty Galați, and Romaero Bucharest will receive their overdue salaries before Easter, due to the initiation of the payment process for salary claims. Almost 4,700 employees benefit from these payments, with total amounts of 57,057,902 lei for 2,946 employees from Liberty Galați, 21,065,133 lei for 1,031 employees from Damen Mangalia, and 4,010,172 lei for 710 employees from Romaero.

The Minister of Labor, Petre-Florin Manole, emphasized the importance of protecting the salary rights of employees, stating that they are not responsible for the financial difficulties of the companies. Transfers began on April 7, 2026, and will be made from the Guarantee Fund for the payment of salary claims, according to the documentation verified by the employers.
