Person on board a ship in the Black Sea, in the Neptun Deep area, urgently evacuated by a Black Hawk helicopter

An air intervention took place on Sunday in the Black Sea, in the Neptun Deep area, approximately 83 nautical miles from the shore, for the medical evacuation of a person on board a ship.

The "Dobrogea" Emergency Situations Inspectorate in Constanța County was informed by the MRCC about the medical situation of the person, who was feeling unwell and needed urgent help. The crew of the Black Hawk helicopter, belonging to the General Inspectorate of Aviation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, managed to land on the ship's platform and take the person in question.

This person was subsequently transported to the hospital for further medical investigations.
