The eMag marketplace has announced that, starting from April 17, 2026, it will introduce a new operational service fee for each order placed on the platform. This fee will be 1% of the value of the ordered products, with a minimum of 1.49 lei (VAT included) and a maximum of 3.99 lei (VAT included).

eMag representatives have confirmed that the decision comes as a result of investments made in recent years to improve the shopping experience and technical infrastructure, in the context of a volatile economy. The fee will be displayed transparently before the order is completed and will not require additional actions from sellers.

eMag will monitor the impact of this change and will make necessary adjustments. Customers will be able to see the fee at the time of generating the AWB, and billing will be managed by eMag.
