Elena Udrea has been exonerated from the Hidroelectrica case after the CCR decision on prescription. The magistrates of the Ploiești Court are due to decide today on her request for conditional release, which has been approved by the release commission. The former minister is serving a six-year sentence in the Gala Bute case and has had months deducted from her sentence for days spent in custody in other countries. Udrea recently underwent surgery and her husband has expressed concerns about the prison's handling of her situation.
