Former Tourism Minister Elena Udrea has applied for conditional release, complaining about the impact of her detention on her daughter. She stressed that she had paid a high price for her conviction, wanting to focus on her family life. Udrea is currently serving a six-year sentence in the Gala Bute case, but has received a positive opinion for her release from the parole board. She has requested to deduct days from her sentence for periods spent in custody in other countries.
