Electrica, a Romanian company specialized in the distribution and supply of energy, announced at the Bucharest Stock Exchange that it will acquire the company Electrica Furnizare Grup SRL (EFGRM) from Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, from its subsidiary Electrica Furnizare S.A. (EFSA). The purchase price will be determined by an evaluation report. EFGRM is engaged in the production and marketing of electricity and gaseous fuels, as well as electrical installation works.

The Electrica Group has an ambitious plan for the period 2025-2027, aiming for acquisitions of 1 billion euros both in Romania and abroad. Additionally, Electrica aims to reach 1 GW of installed capacity in green energy production and 900 MWh of energy storage capacity by 2030, supporting these objectives by attracting 500 million euros from international markets.
