The Elcen Board of Administration has appointed Mihai Volf, legal and procurement director, as interim general director, following the judicial control imposed on general director Claudiu Crețu and commercial director Cristian Zamfiroi, accused of bribery. Volf, with 37 years of experience within the company, will ensure operational continuity and transparency in the management of Elcen, which continues to operate normally. DNA prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation, and details about the crimes committed by Crețu and Zamfiroi have been made public.
