Three education union federations are calling on President Nicușor Dan not to promulgate the fiscal-budgetary law, believing that it will negatively affect education.

The 'Spiru Haret' and 'Alma Mater' Federations of Free Trade Unions in Education warn that the application of the law will lead to an increase in the teaching norm and in the number of pupils per class, affecting education employees and students. The trade unions are calling for the law to be sent back to Parliament for reconsideration, stressing that the proposed measures will have a long-term negative impact on the education system. A trade union delegation will submit official material to the Presidential Administration to request the President's intervention.
