Representatives of the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU) draw attention to the seriousness of the aggression against medical staff during critical interventions, such as resuscitating patients. They emphasize that violence in such moments not only affects the doctor but also the chances of survival of the patient, causing fatal delays.

DSU reiterates that assaulting medical staff in the performance of their duties attracts criminal liability, potentially constituting offenses such as outrage, assault, or disturbing public order. The department calls for strict enforcement of the law and institutional cooperation to address these incidents seriously. Recently, cases of aggression have been reported in Borșa and Târgu Jiu, highlighting the need for respect for the medical act and the safety of those who save lives.
