The DSU delegation, together with IGSU, visited the localities affected by floods in Prahova, assessing the interventions and the needs of the population.

According to DSU, a delegation made up of representatives of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) conducted a visit to the localities of Breaza, Adunați, Comarnic, and Bușteni to analyze the effects of hydrometeorological phenomena and the status of ongoing interventions.

Raed Arafat, Secretary of State, met with the prefect of Prahova County, the mayors of the affected localities, and representatives of the institutions involved in managing the situation. The discussions aimed to assess the needs on the ground and establish the necessary measures to streamline interventions and support the affected population. DSU informed that the Secretary of State keeps the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Internal Affairs, and the Prime Minister of Romania continuously updated on the evolution of the situation.

The intervention forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remain mobilized in the affected areas, continuing intervention missions until nightfall and resuming actions the following day to eliminate the effects of the floods.
