In the first six months of 2025, DSP Bihor conducted 1,348 inspections, identifying significant irregularities in hospitals and medical offices. Among the problems found are the storage of medications at inappropriate temperatures, the reuse of single-use instruments, and non-compliance with the working hours of staff. A total of 154 sanctions were applied, including 55 fines, amounting to 191,400 lei. Inspectors also issued fines for non-compliance with employee hygiene and the storage of medical waste.
