The Romanian Police and DIICOT prosecutors have dismantled an organized criminal group that was selling vaping devices with cannabis, mushrooms, and hallucinogenic gummies to students and pupils. The group's activity, consisting of 12 individuals aged between 24 and 51, was documented throughout the year 2025, aiming to profit from the production and sale of drugs.

The group was involved in international drug trafficking, bringing substances from abroad and establishing cannabis crops in the counties of Ialomița and Argeș. In November, a clandestine laboratory for the production of hashish and cannabis oil was discovered. The police conducted 17 searches, confiscating 14.2 kilograms of cannabis, 1.4 kilograms of cannabis resin, cocaine, and other substances. 11 individuals were detained, and the judge was notified for preventive arrest.
