Dragoș Anastasiu explained that there are two types of bribes: survival bribes, especially common in the 1990s, and enrichment bribes, which are more sophisticated today. He stressed that his company paid 75 million lei in taxes, denying any form of tax evasion. Anastasiu criticized the practice of other firms to pay salaries at the minimum wage, stressing that his activity has always been transparent.
