On Tuesday, August 5, in Peretu in Teleorman county, a double murder took place, resulting in the death of an 83-year-old woman and her 57-year-old son. Another son, aged 45, was injured and taken to hospital, also a victim of the incident. Police have detained a 45-year-old man on suspicion of committing the crime, but the motive remains unclear and is being investigated by the authorities.
