Doctors at the Timișoara County Hospital draw attention to the increasing number of accidents involving scooters, especially among children under 14 years old, who are the most exposed. Every summer, the hospital receives more and more young patients with injuries that could be prevented. According to specialists, falls at high speeds, lack of protective gear, and inattention can have serious consequences, including head and facial injuries. Doctors recommend a few simple measures to reduce risks: wearing a helmet, supervising children, using scooters in safe areas, and adhering to speed limits. In this context, the 'Pius Brînzeu' Timișoara County Emergency Clinical Hospital has launched a safety awareness campaign for the safe use of electric scooters.
