The DNA prosecutors have launched searches in the counties of Ilfov, Prahova, Dâmbovița, Brașov, Bihor, and Suceava, in a case of tax evasion with a damage of 29 million lei.

On Tuesday, prosecutors from the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) conducted searches in 12 locations in the counties of Ilfov, Prahova, Dâmbovița, Brașov, Bihor, and Suceava, in a tax evasion case. The investigation targets several commercial companies and their representatives, suspected of committing tax evasion offenses between 2022 and 2025, in the context of car sales. The estimated damage to the state is approximately 29 million lei. The searches were carried out following the obtaining of legal authorizations from the competent court, targeting both the residences of individuals and the offices of the involved commercial companies.
