DNA conducts searches in four locations in Bucharest in a tax evasion case, with an estimated damage of 28 million lei

The National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) announced that, on Thursday, it is conducting searches in four locations in Bucharest, in a tax evasion case involving several companies in the alternative passenger transport sector.

Prosecutors are investigating suspicions of tax evasion committed by commercial companies and their representatives during the period from August 2023 to October 2025, with an estimated damage of approximately 28 million lei. The searches are being conducted at the homes of individuals, based on authorizations issued by the competent court. This action is part of DNA's efforts to combat crimes associated with corruption.
