The strong winds and blizzard on Wednesday night caused a disaster on the coast, as a wind turbine in Poarta Albă, Constanța county, spun out of control and the propeller collapsed. More than 20 fire engines arrived on the scene and 72 elderly people were evacuated from a nearby nursing home.
