Dinu Iancu Sălăjanu, the head of PNL Sălaj, has been placed under judicial control by the DNA in the corruption case in which he is being investigated.

Dinu Iancu Sălăjanu, the president of PNL Sălaj, has been placed under judicial control by the DNA, following raids carried out on Wednesday as part of a corruption investigation. He joins two other individuals, Mate Jozsef and Ghilea, who have also been placed under judicial control.

Unlike Radu Moldovan, the president of CJ Bistrița-Năsăud, who resigned, Sălăjanu has not stepped down from his position. The investigation targets corruption related to contracts concluded by the Bistrița-Năsăud and Sălaj County Councils with various private companies, and the DNA has conducted searches at 69 addresses across several counties.
