<p>The PSD, PNL, UDMR, Minorities coalition proposes to provide a healthy meal in every school by the 2029-2030 school year, with the program to be gradually expanded. A draft ordinance, on the other hand, foresees postponing the target of one million beneficiaries to 2026. This program is designed to reduce school dropout rates, and Education Law 198/2023 states that at least 1 million children should have been direct beneficiaries as early as the 2023-2024 school year.
