Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, stated that she will not mislead the European Commission regarding the reorganization of Romsilva, emphasizing that the same management structure cannot be maintained. During a coalition meeting, the PSD proposed keeping 41 directorates and over 130 directors, suggesting that the milestone from the PNRR can be achieved without real reform.
Buzoianu officially submitted the Government's decision with 13 forestry directorates for approval, mentioning that if true reform is desired, it can be adopted quickly. She also rejected the idea of resigning following a simple motion adopted by the Senate, stating that she will not be blackmailed into leaving her position.
