The reorganization of the DGA aims to group several county services and zonal operational centers in order to strengthen the fight against corruption, according to the CCJ decision that limits the work of DGA police officers to cases involving defendants from the Ministry of Interior. The Interior Ministry underlines that the reorganization will include budget optimization and the maintenance of the DGA's current competences, without expanding its legal powers. The DGA will continue to cooperate with the competent institutions to prevent corruption.
