On Saturday, vegetation fires affected large areas of land in several counties, the worst situation being in Tulcea, where the fire engulfed about 700 hectares. The authorities have mobilized Black Hawk helicopters to support the response, including in Argeș and Buzău counties. In Tulcea, the fire broke out near Chilia and emergency crews have already been throwing water on the area. Other fires are ongoing in counties such as Gorj, Alba, Bacău, Harghita and Vâlcea, with areas ranging from 5 to 30 hectares.
