On Tuesday evening, a violent fire engulfed an electric car parked in Cheriu, Bihor County. Firefighters responded promptly, but despite 30 minutes of efforts, the car was completely destroyed. The fire broke out, most likely, from the vehicle's Li-Ion battery, causing an internal chemical reaction. The quick intervention prevented the fire from spreading to nearby buildings, without recording any casualties.
