The Prahova Valley is facing a severe blizzard, with wind gusts reaching speeds of over 120 km/h, causing considerable damage. In Sinaia, a fir tree fell on a car, and three people escaped unhurt. The wind has uprooted 20 trees and knocked down power poles, leaving locals without electricity.

Meteorologists have issued an orange code for bad weather, and extreme conditions continue to affect the area. Mountain rescuers warn tourists to avoid high-altitude trails due to the risks of avalanches and getting lost. Additionally, on Transalpina, the wind has blown away the snow, and road workers have intervened to keep the road passable. Snow and blizzards are also expected across the country.
