8 graves have been desecrated in a cemetery in Cuza Vodă, Constanța County. The police have opened a criminal case.

The Constanța County Police Inspectorate announced that several graves in the village of Cuza Vodă have been desecrated.

The authors, who have not been identified, allegedly entered several crypts and stole items from inside them. Police confirmed that 8 graves from 6 crypts were destroyed, and the items were taken. The police in Medgidia have taken over the case and opened a criminal file for grave desecration. Investigations are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and to identify the individuals involved.
