On Sunday morning, the Infotrafic Center of the IGPR informed that half of the counties in Romania are facing dense fog, reducing visibility in traffic to under 200 meters, and in some places even below 100 meters.

The A0 Bucharest Ring Road, A3 Bucharest-Brașov, and A7 Ploiești-Buzău highways are among those affected, without any reported traffic incidents. The affected counties include Maramureș, Cluj, Bistrița-Năsăud, Ialomița, Buzău, Prahova, Ilfov, Dâmbovița, Alba, Brașov, Mureș, Harghita, Sibiu, Bacău, Suceava, Galați, Vrancea, Vaslui, Gorj, Dolj, and Vâlcea. The police recommend drivers to reduce speed, increase following distance, and use appropriate lights. Additionally, in case of breakdowns, it is essential not to stop on the traffic lanes and to follow certain safety rules.
