Denise Rifai arrived at the DNA headquarters, being a suspect in the case in which Ciprian Ciucu is accused of bribery.

Denise Rifai presented herself on Friday at the National Anti-Corruption Directorate, in the context in which the press reported that she is a suspect in the case of the general mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu. According to sources, Rifai would be involved in incitement and complicity in bribery.

Mayor Ciucu has been placed under judicial control for 60 days, being accused of bribery during the period when he was the mayor of Sector 6. Denise Rifai denied any connection to the case, stating that she is not listed in any criminal case and that she has not made any denunciation.

She also mentioned that she is friends with Odeta Nistor, the former head of the National Office for Gambling, who was arrested in the same case. Rifai, known for her career in journalism, previously collaborated with Nicolae Ciucă in the electoral campaign, but emphasized that she was not a trainer for any candidate.
