Deltamed, a Romanian manufacturer of ambulances and special intervention vehicles, will introduce new vehicles that can transmit clinical data, images, and videos in real-time to medical staff in hospitals. This will facilitate faster interventions and efficient coordination between field crews and emergency centers. The company, active in the markets of Bulgaria, Moldova, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, and Singapore, has recently equipped the Black Hawk helicopters of the General Inspectorate of Aviation with complex medical stretchers.

In 2024, Deltamed delivered 62 type B ambulances to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova and received an order for 300 ambulances for Austria. To support development, Deltamed invested 2.5 million euros in expanding production capacity, including a new unit in Aiud. With 100% Romanian capital, Deltamed is the largest ambulance manufacturer in Eastern Europe, having over 270 employees and the capacity to produce in-house all vehicle components.
