Delgaz Grid, the distribution company of the E.ON group in Romania, made investments of over 1.2 billion lei in natural gas and electricity networks last year, and for 2026 it plans a record amount of 1.4 billion lei, 17% more than in 2025. The investments in 2025 were 165% higher compared to the annual average from 2010-2019. In gas distribution, 538 million lei were invested, modernizing 448 km of pipelines and connecting 31,000 consumers. Delgaz Grid has launched pilot projects in the field of green gases, including BioMethaneMix and BlendUp30. In the electricity segment, investments amounted to 674 million lei, expanding the network by 720 km and connecting 36,500 users. The company aims to continue modernizing and digitizing the networks, having 15 projects underway with European funds, including the power supply for the Iași Regional Emergency Hospital. Delgaz Grid operates a gas network of 27,000 km and an electricity network of 63,000 km, serving over 3.6 million customers.
