CFR Călători announced on Wednesday that train traffic between the Palas and Constanța stations is operating on a clear track, which has led to significant delays. These delays are caused by the accidental damage to railway cables by machinery. The affected trains include IR 16085 Bucharest North - Constanța and IR 1585 Bucharest North - Constanța, which have recorded delays upon arrival at Constanța station. Additionally, other CFR Călători trains operating on the Bucharest - Constanța route may experience delays until traffic is restored under safe conditions by the intervention teams of CNCF CFR SA. The company urges passengers to check updated information regarding train traffic.
