The Minister of Transport, Ciprian Șerban, announced that, following a control carried out by the Romanian Railway Safety Authority, 49 technical deficiencies were identified in July, as well as non-compliances related to the insufficient number of attendants and unauthorized personnel. Sanctions were applied and measures were imposed to improve the training of personnel responsible for passenger safety. The minister emphasized the importance of passenger safety and announced that he would monitor the implementation of the measures.
