Defensive grenade discovered on Siderurgiștilor Boulevard in Galați

A defensive grenade was discovered between blocks on Siderurgiștilor Boulevard in the municipality of Galați, in the IREG area, on Friday morning.

The intervention was carried out by the pyrotechnic team of the 'General Eremia Grigorescu' Emergency Situations Inspectorate, after the presence of a possible unexploded ordnance was reported. The pyrotechnic specialists identified the grenade, examined it, and safely removed it for proper transport and storage.

ISU Galați reminds citizens that, in the event of discovering munitions or suspicious objects, it is prohibited to touch or move them, and it is necessary to urgently call the number 112 to request assistance.
