CFR announces a major malfunction on a freight train on the Brădet – Vlădeni section, which affects the circulation of other trains.

The National Railway Company 'CFR' S.A. informed that, on the Brădet – Vlădeni Ardeal section, a freight train of CFR Marfă suffered a locomotive failure on Saturday, at 16:10. To remedy the issue, a rescue locomotive was sent from the Brașov Triaj station at 17:17. Due to the technical malfunction, the train is moving with difficulty, having a speed of approximately 3–5 km/h. Train IR 1622 was stopped at Brădet station from 18:43, and train R 2105 remained at Dumbrăvița station from 20:13. CFR is collaborating with the freight railway transport operator to clear the line and resume normal traffic as soon as possible.
