Daniel Dăianu discussed the risks and benefits of artificial intelligence at the presentation of his book "Crises and the Authoritarian Temptation". He emphasized that, unlike nuclear energy, artificial intelligence can evolve autonomously, having the potential to escape control.

Dăianu warned that its uncontrolled use could lead to financial crises, but more seriously, to threats to the survival of humanity. He mentioned that these risks are recognized even by those who contributed to the development of the technology. The event was attended by personalities such as Mircea Dumitru, Paul Dragoș Aligică, and Marian Preda.
