Daniel Băluță, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party for the position of general mayor of the Capital, discussed on B1 TV about the challenges faced by Bucharest, such as debts to Termoenergetica and the rising cost of living. He emphasized that the city is full of construction sites for replacing the old infrastructure, but warned that there are no quick solutions for the complex problems of the Capital. Băluță mentioned that the heating network is deteriorating faster than it can be replaced, estimating that it would take 30 years to change everything at the current pace. At the same time, he promised that he would continue the useful projects initiated by previous administrations, highlighting the importance of continuity in the development of the city.
