President Nicușor Dan emphasized, in an interview with Digi24, that Russia is conducting an informational war to influence public opinion in the West, including in Romania, and to destabilize the democratic model. Although he ruled out the possibility of a direct attack on NATO, he warned that hybrid challenges from Russia will continue. Dan highlighted the importance of European security and the international order, which have contributed to peace and prosperity, and reaffirmed the need to maintain trust in democracy.
