Following the meeting with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, Dan Șucu stated that many economic sectors feel "the buds of a crisis," caused by the inefficient management of public funds and excessive bureaucracy. He emphasized that the kurzarbeit measure could help prevent the rise in unemployment.

Șucu appreciated the constructive discussions at the Government regarding the economic recovery package, which includes proposals from December by the Concordia Employers' Confederation. He also highlighted the need to support companies in difficulty, considering their previous contributions to the budget. He mentioned that Romania has a limited number of jobs relative to its population, which leads to heavy taxation of those who are active in the labor market. Florin Jianu, president of SMEs Romania, added that the country is at the top of labor taxation and emphasized the importance of investments in the economy.
