Three commercial companies from Ialomița are being investigated for illegal reimbursements of public funds, with an estimated damage of 580,000 lei.

The estimated damage from illegal reimbursements of public funds in Ialomița County amounts to approximately 580,000 lei (113,937 euros). The investigation actions were coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Ialomița Tribunal, and the searches took place at the offices and work points of the three commercial companies, as well as at the homes of some individuals involved.

According to the investigations, between January 2025 and the present, legal representatives and employees of these companies allegedly reported fictitious medical services for the illegal reimbursement of funds from the budget of a public institution. The Economic Crime Investigation Police continues the investigations to document the entire criminal activity.
